Why Greg?

Hello CREB Members!

My name is Greg Mroczek. I moved to Calgary when I was five years old and have proudly called this wonderful city home ever since. I hold a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge and have furthered my education by earning the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification. I am excited to have been accepted into the University of Calgary's MBA (Finance) program for 2025, which I plan to pursue.

My uncle, a REALTOR® in BC during the '90s who later became a mortgage broker in Edmonton, sparked my early interest in real estate. I entered the industry 11 years ago, managing operations for an office of 150+ agents across three Alberta regions, and became a licensed REALTOR® in early 2023. I currently hold residential, property management, and commercial licenses, with plans to obtain rural and associate broker designations in 2025. I have also completed the CREA Leadership 100, 200, and 300 courses.

Beyond my formal education and real estate experience, I have owned seven properties in two provinces, serving as President and Treasurer on a few of these boards. With 10 years of board experience and 4 years of committee involvement at a multi-million-dollar corporation, I bring a lot of leadership and skills to my roles. Additionally, I volunteer at Momentum, assisting with their programs, and as a junior high wrestling and basketball coach. I have also started a program to help people improve their resumes, cover letters, and interview skills. I believe that giving back my time to the community is important.

My management education, combined with my real estate experience, will be a valuable asset. Real estate has been a significant part of my life, and now that I am fully dedicated to it, I look forward to contributing to both CREB® and its members.
